Spanish Rice

1/8 c oil
4 c rice
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
8 c chicken broth
3 Tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp cumin
1 c cheddar cheese

Heat oil on low in skillet. Add rice. Brown lightly. Add onion and garlic and continue to brown. Put in rice cooker. Add remaining ingredients but cheese. When rice is cooked, add cheese and stir.
